  • Organised a range of prestigious events of up to 10,000 guests with budgets up to £1 million in any year. From a dinner for 2 in the Highlands of Scotland to Receptions in St James's Palace, conferences, incentive travel, meetings and seminars worldwide I make all guests feels at ease in all my events.
  • Developed a database of high net worth individuals, associations, corporate buyers and suppliers to the industry.
  • Increased a monthly meeting attendance of a club from 50 to 400 and achieved 100,000 members on the website with 2.5 million hits and 250,000 visitors per month.
  • Increased revenue of Restaurant Ship Hispaniola by 33% within three months and doubled the turnover within six months of taking over.
  • When Chairman of the International Committee (2004-2007) for the Rotary Club of London (2004-2010) and member of the District International Committee (2007-2009), I raised several hundred thousand pounds towards various projects in association with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation towards matching their grant of $150 million to eradicate polio.
  • Named the most well connected person in London.

Deliver over 120 special events a year for various networks, societies, clubs, charities and corporations. Weaved a network of 70 freelance professionals worldwide. Created an exclusive portfolio of PR & marketing, networking, fundraising, exhibitions, incentive travel, destination management, launch & awards and other events.


2003 – 2009    Events Director

                            DRM – Destination and Resources Management

International event director for all special events of this group based in Geneva with offices in Montreal, Madrid, Vienna, Paris, Croatia, Brussels and responsible for the London office. Clients included the Kofi Anan Foundation and the Olympic Committee.


1992 – 2003    General Manager

                           Restaurant Ship Hispaniola (RSH), Victoria Embankment, London

Overall responsibility in partnership with the owner with a staff of over 100 full and part-time positions. Hispaniola was used mainly for private and corporate events for up to 500 people with a sought after restaurant and a bar with magnificent views of the Thames.

                          In charge of all food outlets: restaurant, bar and room service.


1990 – 1991    Manager (Setting up venue, short term contract)

Borde Hill Restaurant and Conference Centre, Haywards Heath - West Sussex. Restaurant, tea room, bar and conference centre in a converted stable block of a stately home.


1987 – 1990    Contract Manager :Roux Restaurant Ltd- In house catering- London

Le Gavroche, Waterside  Inn, Mazarin and various Banks in the City of London to include Paribas, bringing three stars Michelin standard to the City also organised various prestigious events, receptions and exhibitions for clients.
